1. Who I am

This Website, amarbhujbal.com, is owned and operated by Amar Bhujbal, a social media advisor based in India. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (and the rules made under them), I am responsible for deciding how any personal data you share with me through this Website is used.

2. The short version

This Website has no contact forms, no sign-ups, no tracking cookies, no analytics tools and no advertising. All fonts and images are hosted on this Website itself, so your visit is not shared with third-party services such as font providers or social networks. The only personal data I receive is what you choose to send me by email.

3. Information I collect

Information you send me by email

If you write to info@amarbhujbal.com, I will receive your email address, your name (if included) and anything you choose to write or attach. Please share only what is necessary, and do not send passwords, financial details or sensitive personal information.

Technical information recorded by the hosting provider

Like almost every website, this Website is stored on a web hosting server. The hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information in server logs when the Website is visited — such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested and the date and time of the visit. These logs are used to keep the Website secure and working properly. I do not use them to identify or profile visitors.

4. How I use your information

I use the information you share by email only to:

  • read and reply to your message;
  • continue a conversation you have started with me;
  • keep a record of our correspondence where reasonably needed;
  • comply with legal obligations, or protect against fraud and misuse.

I do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and I do not use it for unsolicited marketing.

5. Consent

By choosing to email me, you consent to me using the information in your email for the purposes described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to me. Withdrawing consent will not affect anything done lawfully before the withdrawal.

6. Cookies

This Website does not use cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated before such cookies are introduced.

7. Sharing of information

I do not share your personal data with anyone, except:

  • with service providers that are necessary to run this Website and my email (such as the web hosting and email service providers), who process data on my behalf;
  • where required by law, a court order or a lawful request from a government authority.

8. How long I keep it

I keep email correspondence only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was shared, or as required by law. When it is no longer needed, I delete it. You can ask me to delete your correspondence at any time, subject to any legal obligation to keep it.

9. Security

I take reasonable steps to protect the personal data I receive, including using secure, password-protected email and hosting accounts. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Under applicable Indian law, you have the right to:

  • ask for a summary of the personal data I hold about you and how it is used;
  • ask me to correct, complete or update inaccurate personal data;
  • ask me to erase your personal data;
  • withdraw your consent;
  • have your grievances addressed;
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.

To use any of these rights, email info@amarbhujbal.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". I may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

11. Children

This Website is intended for adults and is not directed at children under the age of 18. I do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent me personal data, please contact me so it can be deleted.

12. Grievance contact

If you have a concern or complaint about how your personal data is handled, please contact:

Amar Bhujbal
Email: info@amarbhujbal.com

I will acknowledge your complaint and try to resolve it as quickly as possible. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India in accordance with applicable law.

13. Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with its "Last updated" date.
